This year’s edition of the award will be dedicated to the theme ‘Entrepreneurship and Resilient Communities’, highlighting the role of local and regional actors in supporting a bottom-up entrepreneurial culture to ‘rebuild better’ after the Covid-19 pandemic.

ELIGIBLE PARTNER

All EU sub-state level territorial entities with policy level responsibilities necessary to implement a comprehensive entrepreneurial vision are eligible to apply for the award, regardless of their size, wealth or specific expertise. This includes autonomous communities, Länder, provinces, counties, metropolitan areas, large cities, as well as cross-border territories with legal personality, such as EGTCs and Euroregions. To be eligible to participate, applicants must have the political skills necessary to implement a comprehensive policy strategy aimed at integrating some or all of the principles of the Small Business Act.
